according to the doc, when i twisted my foot, my peroneus brevis pulled really hard, causing a comminuted, non-displaced avulsion at the back of my right 5th matatarsal. i.e. a chunk of bone got pulled out. so now i have to wear a really ugly shoe for a couple of weeks until it heals. bah.

thanks guys. already it's hurting a lot less than last night. hopefully i can get the x-rays; that'd be fun.
